The manuscript also contains excerpts from the poetry of John Dryden; William Shakespeare; Beaumont and Fletcher; Edward Young's Night Thoughts; Verses written by Samuel Davies, president of the college at Princeton, New Jersey, on the birth of his son; and numerous verse epitaphs. Thomas Richard, dated 1798, appended by a note by Bromehead on his friend.
